You Are Not Imo Gov, Onyeagucha Tells Uzodinma Describes Iwuanyanwu As Betrayal

The immediate past Secretary to the Government of Imo state, Rt. Hon Barr Uche Onyeagucha has stated without any equivocation that Senator Hope Uzodimma is not the legitimate Governor of Imo state.

Hon. Onyeagucha released the bombshell when speaking at the third anniversary of the Owerri zone summit known as ‘Egbu Declaration’ which took place  recently at Mayfair hotel and suits Egbu road Owerri.

 He clearly described Gov. Hope Uzodimma as a ‘gate crasher’ and imposter who is parading a mandate that does not belong to him.

“Hope Uzodimma is not our Governor, he stole our mandate and we cannot recognize him as the Governor of the State. We shall continue to pray until he return the Mandate he stole. He can never have rest until he  relinquishes the mandate he stole from us. If Hope Uzodimma thinks he is powerful let him come out and contest  the next Governorship election in the state”.

He urged the people of Owerri zone and other Imolites to remain resolute and not to relent in ensuring that equity and Justice prevail.

Also reacting on the activities of an elder statesman Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Hon Onyeagucha took a swipe on him, describing him as a perpetual betrayer who has continued to betray  his people of Owerri zone. He maintained that Chief Iwuanyanwu should be relegated to the background and should be stoped from speaking for the people of Owerri zone. “Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu should stop speaking for us, he can do whatever he likes with Hope Uzodimma but not on behalf of the people of Owerri zone, he is a serial betrayer and has sold us for a penny”

In his keynote address, the former Vice Chancellor of  Federal University of Technology Owerri, Prof. Jude Njoku said that the event was aimed at reaffirming the hope , faith and resolve of the people of Owerri to make demand of  their legitimate mandate which was stolen. He later  called for adherence to the Imo state charter of equity which centers on equity, Justice and fairness.

Other speakers  who spoke at the event were, Air Commodore Luke Ochiulo, Gen. Collins Ihekire, Rt Hon. Levi Oguike, Hon Anyadike Nwosu, minority leader Imo state house of Assembly, Chief Mrs May Igwu.

Others include; representatives of major socio-cultural organizations in the Owerri zone and representatives of major political parties in the state.

Highpoint of the summit was an adoption of a communique which was produced at the end of the summit.

Araraume’s Presence In Senate Will Benefit South East, Says APC Chieftain, Nwaigwe.

As political tempo continued to rise higher on who emerges the next senator for Imo North Senatorial District so as to serve out late Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu’s tenure, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Anthony Nwaigwe has argued that the victory of their party flag bearer in December 5th,2020 Okigwe zone bye election, Senator Ifeanyichukwu Godwin Araraume will not only benefit Imo, but the entire South East people.

Speaking to newsmen yesterday, Chief Nwaigwe, a front line businessman and Isiala Mbano-born politician pointed out that his brother, Senator Araraume remains the best choice for the Okigwe people at this moment irrespective of one’s political party affiliations. He described the APC senatorial candidate as a man with experiences,strong capacities and structural impacts all over the zone. “It is not matter of Araraume has gone to Senate twice, but what counts is experience and ability to bring back what our people need. He has a formidable structure more than any other candidate in the race. And he will be a strong voice in the Senate. He will also streamline action plans that will bring Nigeria presidency of South East extraction come 2020. So, I am urging my Okigwe people to vote for him on Saturday. I am an APC Chieftain, and I have contributed immensely to the development of our great party. I had earlier hosted the party men and stakeholders in my area where Chief Tony Black Nduka,Hon. Barr. Simeon Iwunze among others were all present. Let me urge my people to join hands together to ensure that Senator Araraume gets back to Senate”, Chief Nwaigwe concluded
