The kinsmen of Governor Hope Uzodinma, under the aegis of Oru nation have condemned in strong terms the recent attacks on Owerri Correctional Centre and Imo Police Command.
This is even as they accused those they term as desperate aggrieved politicians of responsible for the act.
In a release signed by the Chairman of the group, Chief G.G.E Iheka, the patron, Amb Cliff Nzezuem and the Secretary of the organization, Chief Austin Onyedebe and made available to Lead, they called on the suspects to allow their son complete his God-given mandate for Imo people.
The group further warned that Oru nation would not fold their arms to watch desperate politicians to run the government of Uzodinma down. Imo State has been on the news over attacks by yet to be identified gunmen.
While the Security Agents have been ordered to unmask those behind the dastardly act, the Imo State Government led by Governor Uzodinma in a statement, attributed the action to those it termed desperate and aggrieved politicians.
