Southern YOWICAN calls for youths involvement in leadership

The Chairman of Southern Youths Christain Association of Nigeria, Barr. Oluchukwu Green Nnabugwu has called for Youths involvement in leadership positions at both Federal and State levels for better productivity.

Addressing journalists recently in Owerri, the Youth Boss disclosed that as we celebrate the 2021 International Youths Day, there is almost need for the Federal government to include youths in leadership positions, stating vehemently that until youths take over elective positions, the dwindling economy of the country will not be tackled.

“Nigeria is currently facing some economy crisis; insecurity is on the increase as well as poverty.

Nothing is absolutely working again; the country is going down on daily basis. We are experiencing these because of our ancient leaders who have continued to rule us. Time has come for us to inject new blood into the system.

The world is rapidly changing in all ramifications and we need vibrate youths to take over the affairs of the country for the interest of our children as well as restore back our dignity”, he submitted.

The Christian Youths Boss further called on Government both at the Federal and State levels to initiate policies that will create jobs and empowerment for our teeming youths, stating that unemployment is the brain behind the continuous agitations by different groups.

He further advised Youths to shun violence in their agitations, noting that “destroying government properties is never a way forward for any region”.
