THE Eze-elect of Opara Amainyi autonomous community in Ihitte Uboma LGA of Imo State, Prince Charles Okechukwu Anyaegbu, has applauded the Supreme Court of Nigeria for upholding and re-affirming the victory of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodima as the Executive Governor of Imo State in the 2019 gubernatorial election.
The traditional ruler in the making who made the comment while interacting with journalists on the outcome of the review by the Supreme Court said, that this has shown that the Supreme Court of Nigeria still maintains their supremacy as the Apex court., pointing out that, the REAFFIRMATION of the judgment is an exhibition of the high level of supremacy by the judiciary.
The monarch called on governor Hope Uzodima to see himself as the father of Imo State and not of any political party or group., adding, that the state is in dare need of a good leader.
Prince Anyaegbu described the continuity of the road projects by governor Uzodima as a welcome development, maintaining, that, for the first time in the history of Imo government that projects initiated by the former government are being upheld by the present Government, and added, that continuity of capital projects is the life wire of economic growth of any developing society.
He called on all Imolites to throw politics away and rally round the governor so that he can rehabilitate, rebuild and recover.
