As the January 6 date for the meeting of the members of the electoral collect to confirm the winner of the US presidential election draws near, Presidential Donald Trump, has continued to show optimism that the electors will not confirm Joe Biden, his Democratic party rival.
The results of the US presidential election which was conducted on the 3rd of November 2020 shows that the candidate for the Democratic National Convention and a former Vice President under Barrack Obama, Joe Biden, won the election, but the President has continued to argue that there evidence of widespread fraud and has called for a complete audit of the votes.
According to Trump, there are reports of violation or change of electoral laws shortly before the election to suit the purposes of his opponent in some states, more votes than registered voters as well as allowing mail-in votes to be recieved and counted even after the November 3 election
The Supreme Court of the US which has been approached to upturn the votes for Trump has been reluctant to look at the evidence of fraud before the January 20 swearing date for a new president.
In his Twitter page today, Donald Trump further alleged that “In Pennsylvania there were 205,000 more votes than there were voters. This alone flips the state to President Trump”, he tweeted.
