Onicha Uboma Diaspora Forum Donates Palliatives TO Indigents As Monarch Calls For Govt. Intervention

It was indeed a gathering of people of like minds over the weekend as the people of Onicha Uboma diaspora forum in  Ihitte Uboma LGA  donated and distributed food Items that worth over a million Naira to the Indigenes.

This is even as the Traditional Ruler of the community, HRH, Eze Barr Abel Osuji, Ukaji 3rd of Onicha Uboma appealed with the Imo State Government under the Governorship of Sen Hope Uzodinma to come to the aid of the community members who lost their Houses to heavy Rain Storm house  recently

Addressing the mammoth crowd that gathered at the palace of Eze for collection of the food Items which include Bags of Rice, Beans,  amongst others, Eze Osuji, who was represented at the event by Nze Alex Osueke commended the diasporan sons’ daughters of Onicha Uboma for finding it worthy to alleviate the sufferings of the people as occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic which led to shutting down of businesses in Imo and Nigeria in general

Eze Osuji who used the medium to appeal with the people to always adhere to the measures spelled out by the Government in curbing the spread of the dreaded pandemic prayed God to replenish the pockets of the donors.

While pleading with corporate bodies to come to the rescue of the people particularly those who lost their Houses to the recent heavy rainstorm.

Earlier in his speech, the chairman, Diasporan committee coordinator, Theodore Uzoma Nwokonkwo revealed that the essence of the donation of the relief materials was to cushion the biting effects of the coronavirus epidemic which has been ravaging the Universe adding that he was sent to coordinate the sharing by Diasporan persons to ensure that all got the palliatives

In their separate remarks, the president Genera of the community as well as the woman Leader expressed gratitude to the donors while asking God to replenish them abundantly.

Adding their voice, Acho Edi and Jude Eze who are members of the Diaspora Forum thanked the people the way they conducted themselves during the sharing.
