OKOROCHA’S CAMP MAY TOPPLE IMO PDP FROM NATIONAL

….Plot To Cage Out Ihedioha With Ezenwa Failed

Following what can best be described as failure of coup allegedly plotted by Okorocha’s supporters in the bid to pinch tent with the Imo State Chapter of the PDP given their rejection by Uzodinma’s Government, same people are said to have planned to subdue Ihedioha and his group through the national leadership of the party.

This plan B followed the inability of the group to destabilize the immediate former governor of Imo State over the leader of the PDP in Imo Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha through Senator Ezenwa.

Information from grape vine revealed that Okorocha’s men lured the Senator representing Owerri zone, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi to assume the leadership of the PDP in Imo as the highest office holder of the party in Imo and Owerri zone in particular.

Probably for want of respect for the man who contributed immensely towards his victory as a senator, the said Ezenwa did not only reject the proposal but went to media to re-affirm his loyalty to the leadership of Ihedioha.

Governor Hope Uzodinma had upon assumption of office on January 14, 2020, assured that he would run-an all-inclusive Government but along the way he did not involve the loyalists of Senator Okorocha, as well as that of Senator Araraume, an act which political analysts viewed as dangerous for the Governor and his government particularly in the build-up for the 2023 elections probably for this disregard, Senator Okorocha who is likely going to contest for a second term, appears to have seen that his interest, as well as his lieutenants, may not be accommodated in the next election in APC allegedly planning to join the PDP but finds it difficult owing to the presence of Ihedioha who does not see eye to eye with him politically.

However,  a source from the Okorocha’s Camp revealed to Lead, that their principal is meeting and consulting with the national leadership of the PDP to see if it would be possible for them to be accommodated in the PDP ahead of the 2023 elections.
