Okata Community exonerates Eze Iwueke from ritual killings

The people of Okata autonomous community in Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State has exonerated their Traditional Ruler, HRH Eze Christian Iwueke of ritual killings in the Community.

Speaking during a Peace meeting presided over  by the Chairman of Council of Traditional Rulers in Ihitte/Uboma, Eze I. U Onuoha, the Honorable Commissioner for Commerce and industry in the state, Hon. Simeon Ebegbulem and IMC chairman of the Local Government, Hon. OlemgbeChike to ascertain the authenticity of the allegations against the Traditional Ruler of Okata kingdom.

Eze Onuoha expressed dismay with the allegations of ritual killings levelled against Eze Christian Iwueke before giving the people of the community opportunity to speak over crisis rocking the community.

“According to Chief Collins Nwachukwu who openly defended the Traditional Ruler of the Community, saying that the people of the community are not happy with how the son of the traditional ruler and his friends almost beat one Mr. Emeka Igwe to death.”

He said that the action of the son of the Traditional Ruler would have cause a great damage to community if Mr. Emeka Igwe had passed on.

Chief  Nwachukwu added that the son of the traditional ruler and Mr. Emeka Igwe to tell the people of the community what actually happened on the 28 of December, 2020.

The duo of Mr. Emeka Igwe and the son of the Traditional Ruler narrated their story where they openly told the people of the community that they had a fight but not any ritual killings nor the involvement of Cultist in the matter.

Speaking further, Chief Iyke Ibeakolam and Eze Martin Maduabuchi Keke expressed their heartfelt joy that the duo of Mr Emeka Igwe and the son of the Traditional Ruler didn’t in any way mentioned rituals killings nor the involvement of Cultist.

The Chairman of the Traditional Rulers in Ihitte/Uboma, Eze Onuoha and other Traditional Rulers that accompanied him to settle the fight and misunderstanding between the two brothers who were happy when the duo of Mr Emeka Igwe and the son of the traditional ruler of  Okata Autonomous Community decided to make peace and embrace one another

The Traditional Ruler of Okata Autonomous Community, Eze Christian Iwueke thanked his colleagues for coming to ensure peace returns back to his Community.
