The General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority, Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie has been described as a workaholic among all the appointees of senator Hope led Uzodinma administration. A developer, who is a frequent visitor to the Agency Mr. Obinna Philips, gave this commendation while speaking to newsmen recently in Owerri.
The Imo born developer noted with delight the level of development he witnessed on ground in the State by OCDA.
Chief Philip who is also a philanthropist told newsmen that as an indigene of the state and a developer who is a regular visitor to OCDA, that he is marveled at the level of change in behavior among the staff. He, therefore, lauded the state Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for the opportunity given to Engr. Ikpamezie to manage the agency, describing his appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
Chief Philip recalled how he was maltreated during his visits by the staff of the previous administration of the same agency even as he maintained that Engr Ikpamezie is working assiduously to turn the fortune of the agency around for good.
The Imo North born developer further stated that during his 2 days visit to the agency, he enjoyed the hospitality from both the GM and the staff, even as he urged them to keep it up.
Speaking further, chief Philip pointed out that the OCDA boss is a humble, hard-working, and dedicated leader who runs an open door policy, he thanked Engr Ikpamezie for training the staff to be proactive and have a cordial relationship with the public.
He expressed delight that the Engr. Ikpamezie ensured that the staff of OCDA are now very busy in their various offices than what is witnessed before where the staff was always seen loitering about, he thanked him for getting rid of touts from OCDA.
The developer further poured encomium on the OCDA boss for ensuring that shanties all over the state have become a thing of the past and believe that from the way the OCDA boss is working, soon street Hawking will be addressed.
He, therefore, call on all and sundry to support and abide by the rules of OCDA and the Governor Uzodinma led administration, even as he prayed God to keep, sustain and grant them the strength, wisdom, and understanding to pilot the affairs of the state so that Imo will be a better place for all.
