Nwokoro Makes Case For Araraume For Okigwe Senate

Hon Jerry Ukachukwu Nwokoro (aka U BEST)from Ekwedim in Amauzari community in Isiala  Mbano has joined the fray in extolling the qualities of distinguished senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume and why he is fit and proper to return to the senate to represent lmo North senatorial district in the National Assembly.

The community leader, astute politician and technocrat was reacting to a plethora of appeal and pressure on senator Araraume, to throw his hat once more into the ring and offer the senatorial zone the only effective representation and purposeful leadership they have come to identify with, aligning himself with the publication in the Saturday Nigerian Horn Newspaper of May 9th, 2020 in which chief Mike Ejiogu (FCICN), the Akaekpuchionwa Anara and Abuja based Real Estate and Road construction mogul wrote, “Why Uzodinma,  Okigwe zone needs Araraume’s capacity and reach the National Assembly “.

Hon Nwokoro asserted that Araraume apart from being the candidate to beat in the senatorial re-run election has the overall and overwhelming clout that would assist Governor Hope Uzodinma to lift lmo state from the political limbo, it has been for the years.

As stated by Akaekpuchionwa Anara chief Mike Ejiogu, Araraume according to Hon jerry Nwokoro(U Best ), has continued to demonstrate selfless leadership by attracting massive development projects to the zone, despite leaving the senate more than thirteen years ago.

U BEST as Nwokoro is fondly called recalled that but for the Araraumes political sagacity and exploits, lmo and Abia states respectively would not have been part of either the NDDC or the Niger Delta Affairs Ministry which core responsibilities are the development of infrastructural facilities and Human capital development through youth and women development especially in the  Niger Delta states of lmo, Abia, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, and Ondo respectively.

He recalled also that Araraume more than any other individual or political leader in Okigwe zone used his position as senator to attract the positions of National vice chairman, south  East geopolitical region of PDP, the national INEC commissioner and later, national chairman of INEC which   Prof Maurice Iwu headed.

He, therefore, urged the Governor senator Hope Uzodinma to ignore the distraction of detractors and strive hard to ensure that distinguished senator Araraume returns to the senate to compliment his efforts and aggressive development of lmo state and the shared prosperity for the people adding that nothing short of Araraume can do for lmo North senatorial zone considering the present deplorable state of infrastructural and Human capital development in Okigwe zone.
