Daniel Nwafor led state working committee in Imo has reacted to the letter dated 28th of August addressed to INEC as signed by the National Chairman, Caretaker/Extra Ordinary Committee, Gov. Mai Malam Burni.
This is even as the party described the content of the letter as total misinterpretation and lack of understanding of the facts and issues surrounding the state working committee of the APC in Imo.
In a letter titled Re-Suit No. FCT/HC/BW/CV/03/20/8, between Evan Enwerem V. All Progressives Congress and others signed by Daniel Nwafor as State chairman as well as Ireagwu Obioma as state secretary and made available to Lead they however chronicled the problems of the party as well its cases in court.
In the said letter, Nwafor made it clear that the dissolution of his executive as claimed in the aforesaid letter took place four months before the FCT judgement which restrained the NEC and the NWC from tampering with his led state working committee.
Buni had in his letter to INEC disclosed that Nwafor led state working committee was duly dissolved in 2018 by the NWC of the APC led by the then National Chairman, Oshmohole.
In the letter, Nwafore and his team revealed that they did not institute any matter in court as claimed by Buni in his letter to INEC pointing out that already, they had a subsisting judgment of the court restraining the above agencies from tampering with the SWC amongst others.
