Nwafor Insists On Chairmanship Seat, Writes To Oshiomhole To Obey Court Judgement


The leadership crisis rocking the Imo State Imo State chapter of the APC may not end in a jiffery as the factional state chairman of the party Daniel Nwafor has again written to the national chairman of the party Adams Oshiomhole to obey the court order which re-affirms him as the state chairman of the party in Imo.

This is even as he accused him of playing double standard.

In a letter titled, “now you have received favor from the court, signed and made available to the Weekend Lead, Nwafor urged the national chairman of the APC to obey the judgment of the court which hitherto re-affirmed him as the state chairman of the APC in Imo particularly now he has been favored by the court which re-affirmed his position as the National Chairman of the party.

According to Nwafor, a fit court in, a suit number FCT/HC/BW/CV103/2018 had in August 2018 ordered the national working committee of the APC not to interfere, substantively from either removing or replacing the members of his executive until 2020 when their tenure will expire.
