Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, has praised the impact of attacking midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, after they secured a deserved 3-1 victory over champions, Liverpool, in the English Premier League (EPL).
Ndidi put up a new season record with the most ball recoveries (19) in the clash against the never walk alone side.
“All the stars reveal what a difference he makes for us,” Rodgers said of Ndidi’s display.
“At the highest level you need players who can take back the ball, especially when you have talented players ahead and he is one of the best in the Premier League at that. He was enormously significant.”
The Nigerian has netted one goal with an assist in 12 appearances for the Foxes this campaign. Ndidi has suffered from a series of injuries that has had an effect on his overall play time.
