The Rivers State Number 1 citizen, Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said that there will be no more Nigeria if his Benue State counterpart, Governor Samuel Ortom, is assassinated.
He added that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and his All Progressives Congress members shall be held responsible.
Wike stated this while reacting to an attempt on Ortom’s life by gunmen who trailed him to a river bank in Tyo Mu along Makurdi-Gboko Road in the Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
Wike went ahead to describe it, a disturbing growing trend where the life of incumbent governors are gravely threatened.
