Lead counsel to the Indigenous people of Biafra, Ifeanyi Ejiofor has accused the leaders of the South East of sabotaging the efforts of the IPOB’s legal team to see to the release of Kanu from the hook.
This is even as he described their plans as dead on arrival.
In a release signed by Ejiofor and made available to the Media, Ejiofor accused South East leaders of spending Millions of Naira to split the ever united IPOB group so as not to agree on a particular decision or issue.
Ejiofor however revealed that no amount of sabotage would deter the legal team from pursuing the course of releasing Kanu sooner than expected.
He further called on the leadership of the IPOB to remain resolute in their course adding that their client would be let off the hook sooner than expected.
The supreme leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was few months ago, arrested in Kenya by the Nigerian Government and brought to Nigeria to continue with his trial which centres on treason and felony.
However, the arrest and continued detention of the said Kanu has raised serious concerns and condemnation globally.
In a bid to facilitate the release of the said Kanu, the leadership of the IPOB set aside every Monday as sit at home in the entire South East
