…..Re-Assures Effective Representation
The Member Representing Owerri West in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kanayo has held the grand finale of palliatives distribution to the indigent persons in the twenty-one autonomous communities in Owerri West.
Kanayo Onyemaechi who started the distribution of relief materials, which include bags of rice, beans, tomatoes, Indomie, sanitizers amongst others since the lockdown had over the weekend organized the grand finale.
Recall, that Onyemaechi who is the chairman House committee on lands attracted 6.9 kilometers of roads which have been completed in both Owerri West and Some parts of Owerri North.
The member representing Owerri -west state constituency (IMHA), Hon Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi (Dele) on Sunday 24th May 2020 rounded up the distribution of his palliative packages to some indigent persons across the entire 21 autonomous communities in Owerri -west LGA.
The lawmaker who commenced the distribution from Ochie bloc of the local government concluded at Umunwoha bloc with Orogwe as the last community.
Egbe as fondly called who had earlier maintained that the relief packages were to help cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by the COVID 19 pandemic urged the good people of Owerri -west not to relent in praying for the state and country at large in this trying period.
The lawmaker further reiterated his resolve to continue offering effective representation to “ndi Owerri -west” on the floor of the 9th house of assembly and advised them on the need to continue supporting the shared prosperity administration of governor Hope Uzodinma.
One of the women leaders from the area, Mrs. Uneze thanked Hon Onyemaechi for his magnanimity and commitment towards moving the local government to an enviable height.
She described the Owerri -west lawmaker as a special breed who has in no distant time changed the narratives. The woman leader maintained that it’s on record that Hon Onyemaechi remains the only Owerri -west lawmaker that has carried everyone along in his leadership style noting that both the clergymen, persons with disabilities, royal fathers, and journalists in Owerri – west were all witnesses to his exceptional leadership style.
She pledged her unalloyed support and prayed to God to continue blessing the house member.
