Ahead of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo’s general election, the Imo state chapter of the Ohanaeze has adopted prof Obiuzor as the consensus candidate for the said seat.
Imo state chapter of the group led by the chairman of the elder’s council of Ohanaeze in Imo, Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu had after their meeting in Owerri yesterday, elected the said Obiuzor as consensus candidate after going through the qualifications and individual characters of those aspiring for the seat in Imo.
Prof Obiuzor who hails from Awommama In Orsu Local Government was a onetime Nigeria Ambassador to Israel, USA amongst others.
