Igwe Of Umuna Hails Uzodinma’s 100 Days In Office

The Traditional Ruler of Umuna Autonomous Community in Orlu Local Government, HRM Eze Dr. Douglas Okwara has commended the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma on his one hundred days in office.

The traditional ruler who disclosed this in his palace after the recent distribution of palliative by Umuna clan to the villages said that the achievements of the Governor within one hundred days in office have shown that the Governor is indeed prepared to govern the state adding that despite the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic, the governor was able to achieve a lot within the said space.

According to Eze Okwara who doubles as the chairman Isu Council of Traditional Rulers in Orlu LGA, Uzodinma’s decision and action by continuing with all the contracts including financing of both judicial panel of inquiry on lands, visitation panel, constituted by Ihedioha led administration to call for emulation amongst politicians.

Responding to the question on whether or not he would want to serve the people of Imo in any capacity at the expiration of the present leadership of the Traditional Institution chaired by Eze Ohiri, the outspoken traditional Ruler maintained that Governor Uzodinma for ages has been his personal friend a chief in his palace and a friend that of the palace, therefore would assist him in any capacity within the traditional setting to achieve his aims for Imo people.

Okwarachukwu who had his education in the United States of America used the forum to call on Imo people to remain supportive of the government of the shared prosperity adding that Uzodinma has the needed capacity to move Imo forward.

He further used the medium to commend the Governor on the on-going erosion control at St. Josephs’s Catholic Church round-about in Umuna.
