Game of Thrones stars, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, have welcomed their first child together, a bouncing baby boy.
Harington’s representative, Marianna Shafran, confirmed to USA TODAY. Shafran said the actors are “extremely excited!” Be that as it may, no further details were given.
On Tuesday, Page Six published photos of the couple, both 34, stepping out in London with their newborn. In the images, Harington holds Leslie’s hand, as she wears a face mask and carries the baby strapped to her chest.
Leslie made known that the couple was expecting their first child together in Make Magazine’s “Bold Issue” in September, showing off a baby bump while rocking a floor-length Stella McCartney gown.
The couple met in 2012 on the set of “Game of Thrones,” where they played on-screen lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte. They got married afterwards in June 2018 with a celebration at the bride’s ancestral castle in Scotland. Guests that graced ceremony included the pair’s co-stars Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke.

Ahead of the hit HBO series’ finale in 2019, Harington opened up to InStyle about wanting to become a father one day.
“The most important job I’ll ever have is about to come to an end,” he said of the fantasy series, before adding: “Well, not the most. Hopefully, I’ll be a father.”
Harington and Leslie confirmed their real-life romance by appearing on the red carpet of Britain’s Olivier Awards in April 2016, following widespread speculation about their romance dating as far back as 2012.
The couple made their engagement known in 2017 with a notice in the Times of London newspaper and have continued to stay notoriously low-key about their relationship.
Speaking with Make Magazine in September, Leslie noted that she and Harington purchased a home in England together and would be living there after spending years in New York.
“What a glorious thing to be able to run to the countryside and recoup. It’s a great privilege to be surrounded by greenery, birdsong and hedgerows, and our delightful neighbours. It’s so peaceful,” she said.
Genevieve Nnaji to star in Fela’s musical show premiering on Clubhouse
Nollywood actress and director, Genevieve Nnaji, will star in an audio adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘FELA’ which will premiere on the Clubhouse app this weekend.
The audio adaptation on Clubhouse termed ‘Fela Ten-Twenty’ will portray the “#EndSARS movement in the context of Fela Kuti’s legacy,” Fela Ten-Twenty director/producer, Funa Maduka, told CNN.
The ‘Ten-Twenty’ signifies the date #EndSARS protesters were reportedly shot at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 10, 2020.
“Fela’s music… demanded global engagement with African political thought. In the aftermath of the October 2020 #EndSars protests … his message still achingly resounds. This production is a love letter to those fighting for a better Nigeria,” said Maduka.
The organisers further revealed that Nnaji will star as one of the ‘Kalakuta Queens’, representing the musician’s dancers in Fela Ten-Twenty.
Nnaji revealed in a statement that she is “honoured to be part of the production.”
She said, “The contemporary issues highlighted are what sold me. This is an artful retelling of Fela’s story and I’m honoured to be a part of it.
“I grew up on radio plays and the experience is nostalgic for me – the power of voice to influence minds and touch hearts is undeniable.”
According to Maduka, part of the proceeds from the show on Clubhouse on May 15th and 16th will go to the GEANCO Foundation and will be used to provide scholarship to young female victims of terrorism and gender inequality.

Chidinma speaks on becoming gospel singer, says ‘I’ve had enough fame’
Popular Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile, has announced her switch to full-time gospel ministration, saying she regrets `wasting’ so much time doing secular music.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the singer turned actress stated that “the devil has been winning too long.”
She said, “Our God is faithful; He never lies and He does whatever He says. So, I’m here today. It’s been a long journey. I had an opportunity to spend time with Him; it’s a rare privilege to spend time with Him and He told me a lot of things and He said He has been waiting for me.”
The songstress made it known that she is not going into gospel music for the fame as she has had “enough of all of that”.
“God has been very intentional about me. He is very mindful of me. I’m not here because I want fame. I’ve had all of that and I think I’ve had enough of all of that. So, right now is the time to work for my Father. He is the one who has called me I did not bring myself here. As a matter of fact, I did not want to be here, but I’m going into ministry in full force,” Chidinma stated.
She added, “So, most of you might not understand my ways because you don’t know where I’m coming from, and that is because a lot of time has been wasted. So, I need to catch up with time. I’m moving with time, there is no time. The enemy has been winning for too long. I’ve had my share of influence and all of that, but now I’m using all of that.
“Everything the enemy thought he had given to me though was given to me by God, while he was lying that he gave them to me. Now I’m using all of that to work for my father. So, when you see me doing some very extreme things, just understand where I’m coming from, there is no time.
“There are too many people out there we have to bring back into the house. Jesus is coming soon; sooner than you expect. So, we cannot allow them to miss out on that. Now is the time to do the work.”
Chidinma is currently signed on with the Eezee concept and has released her first gospel song titled: “Jehovah overdo.”
