Fear of the unknown has taken the center stage in Imo following the allegation that 12 out of the 27 House of Assembly members tested positive to the Covid-19 test carried out on them.
This is even as the management staff of the house would be undergoing their own test of Covid-19 today Monday 22.
One of the Covid-19 task force members in the state who would not want his name in print hinted lead.
According to him, all the House Members were issued their own results on their hands, hence it was not possible for any of them to know who is positive and who is negative except if they show their own results to one another.
The leadership of the state House of Assembly under the speakership of Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins had subjected the lawmakers to compulsory Covid-19 test following the allegation that three house of Assembly members had already tested positive.
However, while the management staff members are to undergo the same test today, the lawmakers that tested positive have begun to take treatments against the epidemic.
At the time of filing this report, Lead could not ascertain whether or not the House members undergoing treatment are isolated or they take treatments in their different homes.
