Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the Catholic Archbishop of Sokoto, The Most Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah, spoke the “bitter truth” in his Christmas message to the people of Sokoto.
Bishop Kukah, in his message, had criticised president Muhammadu Buhari of showing nepotism and religious bias in his steering of the affairs of governance in Nigeria. The outspoken cleric had also added that there would have been a coup in Nigeria if it was a northern Christian who became president and is doing some of the things that Buhari is doing presently as the president of Nigeria.
So many Nigerians have been reacting to the archbishop’s Christmas message.
Commenting on the issue on his Facebook page, the former Minister of Aviation stated that Bishop Kukah only said the “bitter truth”. In his words, “Kukah has said what I have been saying for the past 5 years.
