Eziachi Autonomous Community in Orlu Local Government has called on Imo people particularly the people of Orlu Local Government to ignore reports on both social media and print, that the traditional ruler of the community, HRH Eze Michael Ndoh demolished the grand step-mother’s mud house, Ugoeze Celine Ndoh in his compound.
This is even as the community accused the widow’s son, Chido Ndoh for sponsoring the said reports with the sole aim of discrediting the reputation of the young vibrant Traditional Ruler and the entire people of Eziachi Autonomous Community.
In a release signed by the speaker of the Community Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo and made available to Weekend Lead, the Community made it clear that it would amount to sacrilege to demolish or destroy the mud house of an old woman, be it an Ugoeze or any other person without provision of an alternative adding that the said Ugoeze had a befitting Bungalow built for her by the community before the demolition of the mud House which was built about forty years ago and served as an eye sour in Eze’s palace.
As contained in the said release, the idea of demolishing the mud house by the community was reached after every attempt made by the community, some traditional rulers within the community to talk sense into the woman to see reasons why the mud house should be replaced failed.
In the release, the said widow was accused of being responsible for mysterious deaths happening in Ndoh’s dynasty after displaying certain fetish items allegedly belonging to her.
While calling on the media to always verify their reports before publishing and enjoined Imo people to ignore the report why according to them is mischievous.
