In order to maintain good conduct and orderliness among road users especially motorists in Owerri the state capital, the General Manager of ENTRACO, Hon. Macdonald Ebere has launched caution signs for motorists.
Speaking while flagging off the event at the ENTRACO office along Aba road, recently, Hon MacDonald Ebere said that the launch of the caution signs which will be mounted in certain strategic locations in Owerri capital will go a long way to restore sanity and orderliness among road users.
The youthful pragmatic GM who doubles as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Sanitation, also stressed that the whole idea behind putting the traffic signs on the road is to guide against motorists driving one way, illegal parking among other related traffic offenses.
He declared that every traffic offense has a stipulated amount to be paid in the bank after being tried at a Mobile court that will determine the accurate amount for the offense.
According to the ENTRACO Boss, who appealed to motorists and other road users to be mindful of the caution signs and obey the traffic rules, maintained that the commission has embarked on enlightenment campaigns and have marked the locations designated for the sings.
He described the shared prosperity government of Senator Hope Uzodinma as a people-oriented administration that has come to improve the lives of the people.
Ebere, who used the occasion to explain the ongoing demolitions of shanties and illegal structures along the major streets in Owerri which have been converted to shops, said that his commission is duty-bound to restore the cleanliness of the state capital.
