The people of Imo state have been called upon to take advantage of a new health package in the state, Ring-A-Doctor, to improve their health conditions.
In a statement by the Head of the Media team of Ring-A-Doctor, Chief Chibuike Nwikwu, he said the package is the first of its kind in the state, observing that the package will not only reduce the incidents of quackery in the state to the barest minimum but will also avail the people the opportunity to get globally acceptable healthcare delivery as well as medical advice counsellings and cautions at the door-steps of their homes.
He noted that the package will appeal more to people who are based abroad without making concrete arrangements for effective medical attention to their parents, siblings, and other loved ones back home.
To access the package, he said interested people are required to call any of the following two numbers either through conventional call or WhatsApp Video call or whatsApp audio call: 07047556373 and 0704729624. Such calls, he said, will give the caller a direct link to a well-qualified medical practitioner who will listen attentively to the patient after which the doctor will ask him/her some vital questions.
Chief Nwikwu said the questions would guide the doctor to ascertain the right drugs suitable for prescription to the patient. He explained that if the condition of the patient warrants it, the doctor can recommend the patient to laboratory examination wherever it will be convenient for him or her provided the results of such text can be snapped and sent to the doctor by WhatsApp or any other convenient means.
Before such calls can be made, he stated that the caller must pay 2,000 to the organizers.
