Three suspected members of the Eiye confraternity has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for threatening to kill Mr. Teslim Lateef for refusing to be initiated into their secret organization.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi after a report was filed in the Station.
The suspects Olajide Shittu, 32, Emmanuel Fidelis, 29, and Sunkanmi Ifelodun, 39 were nabbed and placed under police custody.
Oyeyemi said Lateef reported that the three suspects have been threatening to kill him for quite some time now because he refused to be a part of the Eiye confraternity.
Oyeyemi said, “they promised to eliminate him since he now knows their secret, so as to ensure that their hideous deeds and organization remains a secret”.
“The DPO, Ajuwon division – SP Andrew Akinseye who has been monitoring the suspects led his men to their hideout where the three suspects were caught.
“They have all confessed being members of Eiye cult group and that they were trying to recruit more members into their fold.”

Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for thorough investigation.
He also warned cultists in the state to make use of the opportunity given to them by the command to renounce their membership of any evil groups or association wherein they belong and are perpetrating evil acts around the state, before the long arm of the law locates them.
