Peter Obi, Ex-Governor of Anambra State has asked security operatives to investigate into the attack perpetrated on the former Central Bank Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and bring the attackers to book.
The bad incident took place on Wednesday in Soludo’s home town, Isiofia, in the Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, where the attackers killed three police men attached to him

This event is happening a month after Soludo made known his desire to compete for the position of the Governor in the Anambra State governorship election come November 2021.
Reacting to the attack, the Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 presidential election, Peter Obi said “political violence should have no place in the democratic process in Anambra State.”
He tweeted, “The reported attack on Prof Charles Soludo in which some security agents were killed stands condemned. Political violence should have no place in the democratic process in Anambra State. The Ballot and not the Bullet should determine the outcome of our elections.
“Meantime, security needs to be stepped up, and the culprits fished out and prosecuted to serve as deterrents to copycats
