… APC State Chair, Vice, Others To Grace Occasion
Saturday 13, June, all roads would lead to Oforola, the country home of the member representing Owerri West State Constituency, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi outlines achievements within one year he held sway as the Member Representing Owerri West in the Imo State House of Assembly.
The event which would begin by Twelve noon would have in attendance, the APC State Caretaker chairmen, Prince Marcellenus Nlemigbo, the State Vice Chairman, the Commissioner for Lands, Enyinna Onuegbu, Noble Atulegwu. others include Chief Canice Moor Nwachukwu, Hon. Chief Mrs. Josephine Nnoham amongst other leaders of the APC in Owerri West as well as the constituents.
In a release signed by the House Member himself and made available to Weekend Lead, the one-year briefing would serve as an avenue for interaction between the House Member and His constituents which would enable him to take cognizance of other problems of theirs which he has not attended to as their representative.
Some of the achievements which would officially be unveiled on the stated day include the 6.7 km of roads which the House Member attracted and their completion.
The said roads are in Owerri west and some part of Owerri North.
Apart from the Roads, the three classroom blocks which the House member attracted would be commissioned same day amongst other achievements.
It would be recalled that Hon. Kanayo had during the serious bite of the Covid-19 pandemic, took it upon himself to be sharing palliatives on monthly basis to all the indigents persons in the twenty-one autonomous communities that make up Owerri West, an act which the stakeholders at home and in diaspora gave him a thumb-up for.
Kanayo had during his campaign in 2019 assured the people of Owerri West, that would be briefing them annually on both his achievements as well as the events in the state assembly.
In line with the said promise, Kanayo has set out Saturday 13th which would mark his exactly one year in the office for the sad event.
