424 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia arrive Abuja

In recent times, more Nigerian citizens have been reported stranded in many countries as they tried to cross borders into an expected country often referred as a Greener Pasture.

Some people who get involved in such dire movements survive and get to their destination, while most do not make it. Some are taken as slaves, while others may not live to tell the story.

Some other people who get to this locations do not have the required papers to work and live freely in those countries.

A new record has been made as 424 Nigerian Immigrants stranded by in Saudi Arabia, were flown back to Nigeria. This news was reported by the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora CommissionAbike Dabiri-Erewa, via a tweet.

Abike encouraged Nigerians to desist from all forms of Illegal Immigration.

He also added that based on the current COVID-19 Protocols in existence, all 424 immigrants will be placed on a 14 days compulsory quarantine.

The tweet read, “424 more Nigerians stranded in Saudi have arrived Abuja . They will proceed on the mandatory 14 days quarantine . We appeal to Nigerians to desist from illegal migration.”
